Halloween!

Last week was quite fun at work! We had an inspection going on in the facility I was in and I was part of the back room crew!!Seven of us where sitting at the table, each one working on his/her laptop and at the same time alert for the questions that came through the chat line or emails!
It was fun being there and getting the questions and trying to find the answers! The inspectors along with upper management where in the room next to us and we had to keep shushing people as the wall between our room and theirs were very thin! In fact the room we were in was part of the board room that they were in but separated by a removable wall! This event reminded me of the college puzzle challenges that Pishi and I used to participate in that Microsoft planned event. It also did help that the compliance group are a fun bunch! It's amazing how their manager kept calm and goofy at time during the inspection.

Last weekend the housewarming gathering was interesting. I think during the past few years I have obtained a no nonsense attitude and that holds true for the no point non-value added discussions that are just for wasting time! Having said that I don't know now if I am considered to be a boring person or not. In any case it was good to see friends.

This Halloween we were invited to one our friend's place. I am glad that she invited us as my brother who was hosting his own party didn't invite us as he said that we are now old for his crowd! We danced off the night and it was great seeing old friends after such long times. My costume was a devilish formula one rocker girl and Pishi was my handsome corpse groom!!

The weekend has been very relaxing so far, we watched a 1965 movie called "what's new pussycat" directed by Clive Donner. Peter Sellers and Woody Allen were as hilarious as always!
Today I am hoping to get some work done after sleeping most of the day yesterday!
